Trust requires faith in another person. It is believing what they say is true. It is believing that they will be there when they say they will be there. You have to know a person to really trust them, otherwise it is blind faith. You could be trusting someone that has harmful intent.
God has proven Himself trustworthy, but if you don't know Him, then how could you trust Him. You find out who God is by reading His world. You begin to trust Him by investing time in Him. It is a leap of faith because many things are a mystery, but many things have been proven.
If you trust God, then you trust in your salvation. You never have to worry that He will take it away once you accept the gift. You can trust that He will provide your mind, body, and soul with rest. You may not get it daily, but when you really need it you will have it.
Trusting God means that He is the foundation of how you live your life. Your faith will not be shaken even if the world is falling apart all around you. You trust Him even when you feel like the world is against you and trying to destroy you.
God is strong and root of real love. God's judgement of the world comes from love. We are all held accountable for how we choose to live our lives. There is a gap between human perception and reality at times. Don't build yourself up to be more important than you are. Don't lower yourself so much that you dishonor the creation that God made of you. Spend time in prayer to find that healthy balance and perspective.
