God and Human Relationship

 

    It is kind of an amazing concept that people can communicate with God.  It is wild that God created our souls while giving freedom to choose how we want to live.  We have the freedom to choose to be near Him or not.  

    It gives me goosebumps that He tries to talk and communicate with us.  Normally it is the Holy Spirit that communicates with us, but there are times throughout mankind's history that God Himself communicated with individuals in unique ways.

    God is our home.  Her is our refuge.  How would we ever know that if He didn't reach out and let us realize what we are missing in our lives?  We would continue our lives searching for that permanent place that feels like home, making all sorts of impetuous decisions based on the temporary feeling of home or acceptance.  God is infinity, so that means our home is infinite.

    I am in awe that God knows all of my secrets, past, and future acts of rebellion and yet He still wants me.  He created me for a reason and even when I get lost, He is there patiently guiding me back.  He is in control, but I get to make my decisions in life.  When I choose to follow His path, things may not be easier, but they are better.  His path rejects the power of anger and hatred and embraces the power of what is good and right in the world,

    God knows your heart, mind, soul, and everything in between.  He loves every little bit about you, even the parts that you don't like.  There is no need to try to hide because He knows it.  He knows where you are and why.  You will feel so much better if you just tell Him everything from your perspective.  It's not about Him as much as it is about you.  He just want to make things better and it will take a burden off your shoulders.

    The sorrow in life will pass.  Don't reject God based on feelings.  We all feel hurt, rejected, and attacked at times.  We need to make our decisions based on facts, not feelings.  It is not easy when you are in pain because you want to do anything to make that pain go away.  Don't hide from it.  Face it and deal.  It is actually easier to push your way through it than to fight it or try to go around.  That will actually produce more scars,

    Take an honest look at yourself and your life.  Be true to yourself when you realize where you made mistakes.  Pray over them and see how God has used them to get you where you are now and where you may be able to go.  God can use the worst parts of your life and turn them into blessings.  Don't let anger and fear be the controlling factor of life.  Use it all and pray that God gives you wisdom from the past to move forward righteously.
