Wise Worker

This chapter is a continuation of Solomon's proverbs.  Each verse is a different proverb and there are 28 verses.  Today we will discuss what it is to be a wise worker.  In this era an employee was a servant.  It is not meant to be lowering a person's worth, racist, or insulting.  It is fact.  However, how the servant chooses to deal with life is on them.  It is their work philosophy.
Peace and quiet are the blessings of wisdom.  It is a house of sharing and caring.  A wise servant rules over the disgraceful child because they are peacemakers, not peacekeepers.  Grandchildren are meant to be the reward of a good servant.  Children are the pride, but the grandchildren bring joy.
God test our hearts at times to reveal if the heart is genuine.  He already knows, but we may not.  The wicked will reveal themselves through their tongue and mocking heart.  They will not go unpunished forever.  It is evil not to appreciate what you have.  Being charming is lying.  It would be better to admit you don't appreciate what God has given to you than try to fool people.  A fool is dangerous.
A loving servant separates deceitful people from close friends.  Their discernment rebukes the merciless.  They pay back evil with good.  It is their nature, but it also shows the people that choose evil that there is another way.  The goal is to stop strife before it turns into something dangerous.  The twisted mind will not succeed.
God test behavior because he wants the wise to thrive.  A wise servant will always choose love even when it is hard.  A fool brings grief to their family.  A cheerful heart is better than any medicine.  It is able to live with integrity no matter how hard it is to maintain.  Knowledge will help you restrain the tongue.  Understanding will level out your temper.  Discernment will hold your tongue.
