When events in life come to an end, how do you want to handle the situation? When your life is coming to the end, is there way to handle make the most of it? You can ignore it by pretending everything is the same. You can accept it. You can use the situation to make the best of it. Or you can find another way. It is really between you and God on how to handle it with wisdom. It is your ending.
Remember God in your youth and grow in the relationship before life's troubles really kick in. The troubles in life will try to steal your joy, but if you learn joy at a young age it is harder to take away. Enjoy your life. Do not put things off. Be adventurous in your youth, so that you don't have any regrets. Do things before you get too old to be able to enjoy them.
As we begin to get older we lose our freshness: appearances begin to fade, excitement for life, and newness of life. Once we reach the senior years our strength seems to leave us and life can dim a bit more and more. Things in life begin to fade. It is normally a very slow process, but the troubles seem to just grow. You may be losing your sight, teeth, hearing, ability to sleep, sex drive, or multiple. It can be hard on a person.
As a person gets older, fear can enter the mind and lives. They are more vulnerable to illness, crime, and other scary things. Desire seems to leave the elderly as they seek security or comfort. You may not be ready to embrace in inevitable, so you begin to mourn your own life. We all deserve time to be remembered because God created us individually. He will never forget you. However, what if you are the last one standing: family and close friends? What if the end feels lonely? You can be ready or you can be tormented over what will not change.
A wise teacher will learn all they can to be able to give knowledge to other people. They search for God given wisdom to find the right words in all situations, to be upright, and true in all things. Keep to the wisdom of God (fixed truths) and don't try to add to His Word.
Don't lose the essence of humanity in any stage of life. Fear God to the point that it motivates you to keep His commandments, not to the point that you try to run from Him. He is the judge of all, even the hidden secrets, whether good or evil.
Ecclesiastes 12
