Solomon was the writer of the books on wisdom. He designated the book Song of Songs to be a book of wisdom on Love and how to treat a marital relationship. He considered this his finest writing. There are different types and phases of love. Marriage is not always passionate, but there should be passion. He provides the perspective of the woman, man, and friends in a passionate marriage. He uses a lot of wordplay.
We should take delight in kissing. The lips have the softest skin on the body and feel more. When kissing is sweet, it can bring about all sort of feelings. When you are married you can explore all the passion that kissing may direct. It is good to appreciate each other and enjoy the simplicity of kissing.
Love is something that should be celebrated. It is not something to envy or be jealous of because each relationship is different. Your person is probably out there. You just need to practice purity and patience. If it is your lot in life to be single, then God will bless your virtue. Just do not try to hinder love for other people or interfere with another person's marriage.
The color of the skin does not matter when it comes to love. God provided an assortment of shapes, sizes, and color to make life more vibrant. It is all beautiful. Scars and imperfections tell a story about a person's life. Once they are healed, they too become beautiful. It is your private story to be shared with people that can be trusted.
It is okay to decorate or fancy yourself up with makeup, jewelry, or fine things as long as you know that the most beautiful thing about you is you. It is nice to feel attractive and appealing. It is not arrogance to try to look your best and appreciate how God made you. It may make your spouse feel special that you dress up for them and it feels nice to feel appreciated.
When you are married, you need to feel comfortable enough to be yourself. Enjoy each other physically, intellectually, and the process of developing a deep emotional bond. You need to feel comfortable with being completely naked with your spouse. That is more than your birthday suit. It is exposing you thoughts, ideas, and areas that you may never tell anyone else. It is being vulnerably exposed. When you feel safe with someone, then you don't need to over think it. Feeling safe is what brings a closeness.
