Deliverance

 

    Deliverance is the action of being set free or rescued.  God is the only one that can give us true deliverance.  His deliverance saves us from ourselves, the sin of the world, sin that we don't even comprehend.

    The day of punishment will be fierce because God is going to show His full power.  He will bring judgment on all the sin in the world.  The leviathan that represent chaos and evil  will be slayed.  The only deliverance for people is salvation.  

    We need to watch over our salvation walk because we are the only Bible that the world may ever read.  We may be the only introduction that they have to God.  Live life with all the joy that life has to offer, but be on guard to temptations.  Don't live your life in anger.  Life is a battlefield full of all kinds of confrontations.  You can give your anger and resentment to God.  When you do, He gives you a way to blossom in any situation.  

    If you let God work in your life, then He will drive out evil from your life.  Salvation is deliverance from guilt.  Your guilt of sin has been atoned and your sin has been removed.  The more you give to Him the more your heart turns into an altar for God.  It also means the more He purifies your soul.  

    People without understanding will not have compassion on judgment day.  He is not angry, but the day of sifting means that they have to be removed.  They had their opportunity to have a relationship with God and rejected Him.  The consequence is rejection from Heaven.  It is to the spend eternity in the pit with all evil.  

    That is why Christians are held responsible here and now to tell everyone we can about salvation.  Accept your deliverance and worship God openly.  After all, you do get to spend eternity with Him.  You get an eternity of pure love.  That is something to live for.

Isaiah 27
