Only God

 

    It really doesn't matter what you believe.  It doesn't matter if you have faith.  It doesn't matter if you agree with sin or if it brings you remorse.  There is only one God.  He is the one that makes the rules.  He is good enough to never be a dictator.  He gave you free will.  What you do with your freedom is up to you.

    If you chose to believe in other gods, then all you are doing is adding a burden into your life.  This burden is not only physical, but mental and spiritual too.  It will get heavier as time goes by.  It will make you weary.  

    Have faith in God because no one can wipe Him out or remove Him from history.  God is with His people every day.  When it comes to the time of their death then He will be with them for eternity.  We never have to be separated from God.  He made you, so He is invested in you.  He wants to sustain and take care of you.  Nothing compares to His love: nothing.  You can draw strength from that knowledge.

    Idols do not respond to prayer or worship.  They can't protect you.  They can't calm a troubled heart.  They can't heal a broken soul.  All they do is enforce the rebellious spirit.  A stubborn heart can become righteous once it is willing to turn to God.  He is waiting to grant you salvation.  The other option will be His justice inflicted upon you. 

    What will it take to get you to believe that God is the only God and then chose to have faith in Jesus?  This is His world.  People are His special creation.  We are set apart from everything else.  He made you special.  He wants to share His splendor with you.
