Enemy's Fall

God will not continue letting people to be bullies, dictators, or anything else that harms other people.  He will give the "enemy" time to change and seek Him, but that time will run out.  He knows what is best.  It can be hard to watch and wait, but it is for the good for everyone, not just you.
God does not anger easily.  He has more patience than any saint.  However, when He is angry it is something to stop and take notice.  Around 626-586 BC God got angry with His people and them over to Babylon.  He used their enemy to teach them a lesson, but Babylon went too far.  They showed no mercy which brought God's wrath upon them.
The enemy thought they had victory on their own.  They never considered that God was allowing it and enabled it.  They never considered anything beyond their own power.  It was their pride that brought them to their ruin.  Pride always brings disaster and destruction.  No one can save you from the consequences of pride.  It leaves you defenseless.
God allowed His people's to get control over them.  Their enemies made His point, but at the end of the day God will protect His people.  Once Babylon served their purpose and did not submit to God, God tore them down.  He exposed them to humiliation, embarrassment, and shame to silence them for good.

Isaiah 47
