A covenant is a binding oath or promise made between two parties. When God make a promise He will keep it. People are the wild card, but it would be foolish to break a covenant with God. It would go against your own self-interest.
Call upon God about the mysteries in life and He will answer. Go to him about what confuses, angers, or upsets you in life. Don't hide, make excuses, or pretend that you understand everything. He knows where you are at all times, how you think, and who you are to the core. He loves you no matter what you have done. In all the covenants He ever made with people, it was to give us a chance to have a relationship with Him.
He made a promise to a provide health and healing. It is a promise of restoration. It is a covenant because we have a few things we have to do on our side. We have to be faithful. His restoration is worth all sacrifices because it provides peace and security. God is good. He even restores fortunes. What appears to be desolate can be restored.
God keeps His Word. Justice will come and righteousness will cover the world. God's people will have security. However, if you break the covenant you have with God, then you will lose your security. Reject God and He will reject you. Turn to Him, no matter how many times you may have rejected him in the past, and He will have compassion. He will restore the relationship. Jeremiah 33
