Death & Exile

God loves every person that ever has lived and will ever live.  He gave us all a purpose.  He wants to bless every single one of us.  It does not bring Him pleasure to discipline us when we reject Him.  He doesn't want to loose anyone, but He gave us the gift of free will.
We are able to think for ourselves.  We are allowed to make decisions that don't involve Him.  You are allowed to reject Him, but that means that when the day comes for your death and eternity He will reject you.  When you go against God, you have to face the consequences of your decisions.
God's people rejected Him.  They ignored Him.  They pretended He did not exist as they spoke for Him.  In conclusion, He did not send them to hell.  He exiled them from the land He had promised them to have forever.  They were exiled for 70 years because they thought they knew better than God.  It was really 66 years, but then there is the travel time and the reestablishing their lives.  God did not abandon them during any of it.  He still wanted good things for them.
Establish roots where you will find peace and spiritual prosperity.  Root yourself in God's Word and wisdom.  When you pray, be sure to listen too, otherwise it is just self talk.  Devoting yourself to God will help you from wondering into the murky waters of sin.  If you ever are at the point where sin no longer looks like sin, then God has to punish you.  His punishments have a time limit.  It will not last forever.  Use the time to learn what sin is and how to turn away from it.  Find your way back to God if you seek Him and He will restore you.
Seek God with all of your heart, mind, and soul.  Don't listen to the smooth sounding lies of Satan.  His lies will lead you into horror: violent death, starvation, sickness, or some other curse.  God does not chose this.  It is our choice to take this path.  Liars and are cursed.  If they don't repent, then they will have the same eternity as Satan.  They have followed him right into the pit.
Honor God's Word.  Don't try to change or reprimand it.  It is correct in all things.  Do not let your mouth rebel against God.  Take control and give all of yourself to God.  It is the only way to avoid eternal death and exile.
