Sin & Sabbath

    Sin is an immoral act that is considered a transgression against divine law.  Each act is a separate sin even if they tie in together.  One sin ruins perfection, so you see no one is perfect.  We have all sinned and there is no way to avoid that truth.  We start sinning before we know what sin is, but it is not hopeless.  We can purified.  We can find salvation from ourselves.

    Sin begins in the heart and moves to controlling the mind.  Once we think it is a good idea or okay, we act and thus sin moves into controlling our lives.  The heart is where we keep what we treasure, so that means at some level we treasure sin.  Since we replace the God given treasure of purity with sin, God will take our treasures  and remove them because we have become slaves to sin.  Slaves don't get nice things.

    God curses all who puts their trust in people, idols, or myth instead of Him.  We have to trust God with confidence.  This is how we can live a steady and strong life without fear.  The heart will lie to you beyond understanding, so you have to let God search the depths our your heart and mind to reveal your weaknesses.  Only then can we begin the journey of healing from sin's wounds and scars.  

    Live life through listening and obeying God's Word.  Turn to Jesus for salvation.  Keep the Sabbath Holy by observing it, resting, and praising God.  Respond to God's discipline with gratitude because it is for your benefit.  Change your sinful habits to habits that will glorify God.   Obedience leads to holiness.  This leads to purity.  You can have a rich pure life.  If you reject this path, then you will lose everything.  If you forsake Him, then you will be destroyed by sin.
