Salvation Security

 

    God laid the foundation of the world when He created it.  He made it strong and secure.  He made it where it would give us everything we need to survive and thrive.  He even gave us comfort.  That means that He created each person too.  If He had not created us, then how could He understand what our needs, desires, and ways would be to make the world perfect.

    God made Jerusalem an unmovable rock to be security against all nations that wish harm.  It symbolized the security of Heaven for all that choose salvation now.  It will never be destroyed or corrupted.  However, Jerusalem was able to be because corrupted humans were allowed in.  When we get to Heaven we will be our perfected selves.  There will be no more corruption, fear, or doubt.  God will no longer have any wrath.

    However until that day, we still have Jerusalem.  It has significance above all other nations.  It is under God's protection.  This is where the final epic battle will occur: Armageddon.  Jerusalem is where the weakest of God's people can go for protection.  They will watch as the other nations are destroyed. 

    Heaven is secure, but the rest of the world will eventually fall to corruption.  It will be destroyed.  God poured out His Spirit to us by grace and supplication.  He gave us Jesus to create a bridge to give us accessibility to Him.  He was sacrificed on the plain of Megiddo as predicted.  The land mourned, but His resurrection is our fixed foundation.  It can't ever be changed.
