How to Seek God

God has opened the door for you to have a real fulfilling relationship with Him.  There are boundaries, like in all relationships, that we must obey for that to happen.  God upholds His end every time.  We just have to learn how to approach Him.  It starts with seeking Him because He is seeking you.  The question is: How do you seek God?
When you want to seek God, you have to start looking inward.  Do not judge other people, but instead judge yourself.  If you judge your life according to God's standards, then you know where and how to make changes in your own life.  It also will leave no room for others to judge you with any validity.  If you insist on judging other people, then be prepared.  God will judge you just as harshly.
Search your soul for any hidden sin, hurts, wounds, or anything else that could block an open relationship with God.  When you are seeking God, then you need to hand those things over like a sacrifice.  He will take the burden happily to be able to be closer to you.  This displays humility.  Once you have humility, then you can discern actions of others as good or evil, but the judgment belongs to God.
When you seek God, you will find Him.  Through prayer, knock on Heaven's doors.  They will open.  Ask for what you need and don't stop until you have an answer.  God appreciates persistence.  It proves faithfulness.  Everyone else will get bored and give up.  Seek what is good and you will receive goodness.  Through faith prayer seeking salvation, you are transformed to be suitable for entry into Heaven.
God's path is a thin path.  It is the least traveled path on your trail.  The well tread path looks more appealing because it looks safer.  It has a better view.  It lets you feel more in control.  However, in reality it causes more harm and will lead you to your eternal death.  God's path looks uncertain, but the view once your reach the top is Heaven.  It requires moral faith to travel on it without deviating.  It will force you out of your comfort zone in every way possible at times, but it leads to eternal life.
Don't trust your eyes.  Don't listen to the people that try to get you to go on the well traveled path.  If you do, you will cry out to God on judgment Day, but He will say that He does know you and send you away to the pit.  Take the wrong path and there is no going back once you have died.  You can always turn around while you are alive, but it makes the journey more difficult.
Listen in your heart and soul for the Holy Spirit's guidance to build a solid foundation with God.  When you hear the voice of the Trinity, then you need to obey immediately.  Don't analyze, create a pro/con list, or question.  Just obey and you will be all the wise for relying on this foundation.  Obedience builds an unbreakable strength that only God can provide because Jesus is the authority over it all.
