Jesus' Love Part 2

Being loved by Jesus changes everything.  It changes the way you see the world.  It changes how you accept the world.  It changes how you walk, talk, and live in this world.  Jesus loves you, but are you able to accept that love?  The answer to that will define how close you are able to get to Jesus.
The love of Jesus makes you clean. It purifies the darkest of hearts.  You can tell if a person has faith and is able to accept the love of Jesus by the fruit that they produce.  Some people have faith, but do to things that have happened to them in their lives, they have a hard time fully accepting his love.  Through prayer, devotion, and self care work the person can get there.  Other people have contact with Jesus' love and reject it.  They are cut off and left to their own devices.  Jesus can't leave the dead on the vine to rot and destroy the good fruit.
Jesus is the producer of the fruit.  Remain with him and he will remain with you.  You can't produce fruit without him in your life.  He teaches you how to plant seeds, take care of the seeds to allow it to bloom, tend to the bloom, and when to harvest.  The only way Jesus can teach this to you is by reading His Word.  Stay in communication (prayer) with him.  He is the one person you can ask anything too without any fear.  He knows what is on your heart and is just waiting for you to verbalize it for yourself.
Pray in Jesus' name with a pure heart and it will be given.  He will not respond to selfish desires or spiteful request.  A relationship is a two way street.  He gives all he has to you.  How much do you invest into the relationship.  For the relationship to work you need to display your love for him through obedience and being open.  Walls in relationships will destroy any intimacy.  If there is anyone that you don't need any walls with it is Jesus.
A transparent relationship with Jesus brings joy.  Even in the hard times, you can have joy.  The joy that he gives is complete.  He is life giving, not life sucking.  He wants you to thrive and not be suffocated or destroyed by the world.  He loved you so much that he died so that your sins could be removed from you. If you accept him, then the stains of sin are removed.  It is like it never happened.  That means you can let it go too.
If you love Jesus, then you need to learn how to love other people too.  People don't always make that easy.  Some seem to go out of their way to make your life more difficult or painful, but we are expected to find a way to love them too.  He broke custom in how he did things.  That means that we still need to defy the way the world perceives love by loving the world the way Jesus did.
We don't live in a perfect world.  We won't have that until eternity, but we can live in joy and embrace the benefits of our salvation now.  Claim it and don't let anyone take that peace and joy away from you.  If you do, then all you are doing is giving the gift that Jesus gave you specifically and stomping on it.
The world hated Jesus.  That means you should expect the world to hate you, but Jesus loves you and that is all that you really need.  His love covers all things.  His love makes you special.  One day the world will have to answer to their sins.  No one has an excuse.  His Word is out there and like it or not we all have access.
The world thinks their lives are perfect.  That is why they hate Jesus for coming and displaying that it never was for all to see.  Jesus' life displayed the guilt of sin and our need for him to change that fact.  He was the original witness from the beginning to call sin out for what it is: wickedness in our hearts.  When wickedness thrives, then hate lives to persecute Jesus, then all those that follow him.
That means we are all accountable for what we know or do not know.  The world may hate for no good reason, but you have to rise above the hate and love the world.  It is the only way you can show the world the love of Jesus.  You are his living testimony with the consistent help of the Holy Spirit.

John 15
