Justified by Faith

Abraham is a patriarchal father to Christianity and Judaism.  He was the father to the Hebrew nation.  He is known for his faith.  He did a lot of things wrong, but he he never hesitated to obey God.  His faith made him righteous.
Works are a gift of obedience.  As a Christian our works are an obligation done through faith.  Anyone can do chores and work.  Work that comes from faith ask the impossible.  It tells us to love people that hurt us.  It does not mean we need to stay in an unhealthy situation, but we should never stop loving the other person.  It may require kindness when you just don't feel kind.
Forgiveness is a blessing.  If you want that blessing, then you have to start practicing it yourself.  If you are unable to forgive, then God is not going to forgive your wrongs (even after salvation).  At the moment of salvation all your previous sins wash away, but after that you have to change.  You have to do as the Biblical law requires and it all has to be done in love.  Otherwise, those sins are not forgotten.  You will still enter Heaven, but you also have to account for them on judgment day.
Build your faith and make it strong for the gory of God.  Do not let life weaken it.  Faith is credited for righteousness.  Faith justifies your life.  Faith gives you your inheritance through grace.  It is sealed through a circumcised heart.
