The power of the Gospel is seen through the mercy ministry. No one can be strong all the time. It is in our weaknesses that we discover new things about ourselves. It is in our weakness that we have an opportunity to grow in our relationship with Jesus. This ministry is strong because of perseverance. Don't give up.
Don't lose heart when things are hard. Instead renounce the sin that tries to claim you by using the purity of God's Word. It can give you power to do what you need in that moment, day, and it will add up over time until it becomes easier. We have this because God is merciful. The church can see it by your motives. If your motives are pure, then your actions are pure and empowered. If your motives are false, then you will give the wrong message.
The world is blind to the power of the Gospel. The people that embrace the world's ideas and perspective think that it is all nonsense, but we know the truth. It was the mercy of Jesus that gave us the power to change our destiny to live in sin. We have the choice to live an empowered life though the Holy Spirit to follow the only path that will give you what you actually need in life and eternity.
It is an honor to be a servant of God. It is not forced upon you. Choosing this life means that you live with a light within you that the world can see, but doesn't understand what it is. His light is seen in our knowledge of the Gospel and using that wisely to live a life for His glory. It is the light in the darkness. His light never goes out.
The people that follow Jesus will be persecuted. We know this and understand it, but we don't walk away because we don't walk this path alone. He is always with us. He feels closer when the path takes a scary turn or causes heart ache. Being a Christians is not a fairy tale. There is no happily ever after with no more woes in life. We just have an opportunity to not be crushed by life because God will never abandon you. This is why we do not despair, get lost, are crushed by life. Satan can't destroy our souls.
The power of the Gospel gives your faith a voice. Your faith has a voice when you live out your life transparently and honestly in your journey with God. We can get through anything because we know that one day God will rise up to join Him. Death will not be the end.
Faith with a voice speaks grace. It is a life of thanksgiving that overflows from the glory that God has given to us. Don't lose heart because the Holy Spirit is there to renew your soul as needed. The more you read God's Word, the more your soul is fueled and strengthened. It is power that gives eternal glory. Fix your eyes on the unseen, the eternal. Don't worry about the rest. God has this.
