Heir of Jesus

Jesus was born under the law by a virgin woman.  How can God be born?   That is harder to grasp than the virgin birth.  The answer is the same way a virgin could get pregnant at that time.   He is God.  He can make anything happen.  The more important thing is that it did happen and it happened so you and I could become the heirs of Jesus.
Jesus' timing was perfect.  If he had been born today, we would have given all the credit to science.  People would have had an even harder time having faith.  He waited for all of God's plans to align, so that Mary could be his mother and Joseph could raise him in a good and safe home.  Joseph loved Jesus as if Jesus was his own son to the point he would have died to save Jesus from any harm.
Jesus' life, death, and then his resurrection accumulated in the redemption of the law.  It was completed when he left giving the Holy Spirit his time with us.  We are no longer slaves to our sinful nature.  Jesus broke those chains on the cross and destroyed them when he woke in the tomb.
You now have the full freedom to make a choice.  If you chose to join the Christian family, then you have made the choice to live like the heir that you became.  You are part of something so much bigger than what you are on your own.  That also means you have great responsibility to live a better life.
Chose to live a good life without any bitterness.  That does not mean that you will have excess money.  That does not mean that you will never suffer.  Life is hard for everyone.  It means that you already made the decision not to allow that to steal your joy and hope.  You are a guardian (trustee) of the truth.  How are you going to live out that honor?
Do not let the truth become your enemy.  You have all the access you could possibly want to the truth.  Why not invest some time to really understand it?  If you ignore the truth, then you are alienating yourself from God.  He is never pushing you away.
You either lean into him or you are pushing him away.  It has always been your choice.  Just remember, if you reject God, then you are a slave to sin, to Satan, to the world.  A slave will never be an heir of Jesus.  A slave will never enter Heaven.  Free yourself and become an heir of Jesus.
