Misuse of Doctrine

What is doctrine?  Doctrine is belief or set of beliefs taught by a church, political party, or other organization.  Definitions are so broad that it can really make it hard for people to be on the same page about how the word is used.  It it just means we have to use more words to explain what we are trying to say.  God has laid out His doctrine clearly.  It is people that distort what He says.  That distortion along with application is misuse of doctrine.
True Children of Faith (aka Christians) are known by their grace, mercy, and peace that comes from God.  They do not let false doctrine be taught.  They do not listen to the lies of false doctrine because they understand that it is empty.
God's Word is not mythology.  Genealogy is important, but God's Word is so much more than that too.  It is life in writing.  It is the place where you can discover new things and use to support what you discover in your life whether it be science, inspiration, or anything else.
The goal of sincere faith is to be able to love with a pure heart and conscience.  Where there is Godly love there is nothing to fight.  The law was made for people to show us our sin.  It is meant to give us healthy boundaries for the rebels, ungodly, and unholy.  If we don't then we do not honor God.
The Gospel conforms people for the better.  It opens our eyes, so that we can see more clearly.  Jesus gives us strength to serve faithful and lovingly.  He came to this world for you, me, and everyone else.  He came to save us from our sins.  His presences opened our eyes to a better way at looking at the Bible as a whole.
Jesus changed everything, but at the same time nothing changed.   People are still people.  Sin is still sin.  Yet now, we understand mercy to display patience.  He opened the door for anyone who wants to enter into the spiritual world.  Open your eyes to the unseen spiritual world led by Jesus.  This is how you honor God and lovingly live out His doctrine.  This is faith.
You just have to open your eyes to see and that can only happen with faith.  Hold on to your faith.  It is the most important thing that you can possess in this world.  Anyone who misuses God's doctrine needs to be over to Satan.  That means removed from the church family.  Maybe they can learn that the gospel is not speculation, but transformative truth, before it is too late.  If they do, then they can come back as a true child of faith.
