Irresponsible

 

    What is it to be irresponsible?  To be irresponsible is for a person's attitude or action not showing the proper sense of responsibility.  That is pretty vague.  It leaves it up to the person who feels that you are being responsible.  Thank God that He gave us a little more clarity.  At the same time He always leaves room for you to figure out how best to apply His authority.

    Pray through your issues and ask for guidance on how to handle situations.  Over time it will come more naturally, but we will always need Him.  Pray that God's Word spreads quickly, so that we have people to work through things with.  Pray so that it will give other people the opportunity to understand the truth and why they need God too.  Pray that God is honored throughout the process.

    Pray for strength to stand against Satan.  Pray for deliverance and protection from evil.  You can stand firm for God and not go personally face evil at the same time.  If you do, never go alone.  Fighting evil is beyond the human concept.  It is a spiritual war and we have to fight it spiritually.

    Let the Holy Spirit direct your heart throughout life.  That is what is responsible, honest, and true.  That is what makes life better.  Be a model person for others to look toward for direction.  It is irresponsible to live recklessly out of connection with God.  This will lead others aspray.

    Work for what you have in life.  Do not be a burden upon other people, but live with integrity.  If you are not willing to work according to your ability, then you should not eat, have a home, or anything else in life.  If you rather be other people's business than to tend your own, then you need correction.  A busybody spends way too much energy needing to know everyone else's lives to face their own issues in life.  God directs us to figure out own stuff out before trying to take care of other people.  That is why we are not meant to get tired of doing what is right.

    It is irresponsible to associate with rebels or even busybodies.  They will bring shame into your life.  Anything that goes against God's commandments is irresponsible.  If it is not done out of pure and holy love, then it is not the right thing.  These are not your enemy.  They just need correction.  They may be hard to deal with.  They can be flat out horrible people that you want nothing to do with.  They may even attack you and declare themselves your enemy, but Satan and his minions are your enemy not God's creation.  

    Ask God how to see past all the distractions and allusions, so that you can live in peace with everyone to the best of your ability.  God set it up where all His commandments should be obeyed through love.  It is the only way it will work.  If you associate with hate, then you will hate and there is no way you can do what is right.  Instead endure for love, for what is right, for God.
