Abba

Abba is the Aramaic word for father.  It is used in reference to God because God is the ultimate father.  He is the good father.  He is the example for every man to be a good father.  He is not only the father to Jesus, but to all people as our creator.  He is also the father over religion, but more importantly faith.  Abba implies intimacy.
Religion is political.  A relationship with Abba is not.  It is an actual relationship, just not in the typical format that we are used to.  It is not face to face or through a cell phone.  It is a relationship that takes place in your soul, mind, and heart.  It is through faith and acknowledged through worship.  It is not something that can be explained.  It may look ridiculous to outsiders, but it is real.
Judgment seems to come natural to people.  Non-believers judge us for our unorthodox ways and not fitting into their standards.  Some Christians judge other Christians for not fitting into a nicely fit Christians.  If you live a life based on faith, you will not be normal and that is okay.  You will go against what the world declares how things need to be because you are speaking and living for God.  Follow the way Jesus is leading you and you will never have to worry about going wrong.
Be prepared.  To live in faith is very rewarding, but it brings on a lot of attacks in unexpected ways.  Live for your relationship with Abba, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.  Live for the truth boldly.  Pray for forgiveness to be given where needed and to be able to forgive in return.  Life is not perfect yet, so we need to be able to forgive ourselves and other people.
Pray to Abba about temptation.  Ask him to show you how to fight your desires that are not from Him.  Ask Him to show you if they are not from Him.  Ask Him to help you resist all temptation, so that you do not hurt your relationship with Him.  Use the title Abba when you pray in need of guidance and fatherly intimacy.
The Spirit is strong.  We are weak to our desires.  We need help to be victorious.  We may suffer for standing firm in our faith, but it is worth it if our life gives God the victory.  Endure the hardship in silence before your deny Him.  Cry if you need to.  That is not weakness.  It is surrender and acknowledgement that life is hard.  It is okay to give yourself a release from pain and tension that could make your heart go callous otherwise.  Let go of your fear and trust Abba to take care of you and your situation.
Christians don't have to be worried about eternal condemnation because we are no longer slaves to sin, but that does not give us the right to live however we want or treat people in an unholy manner.  Trust Abba to allow your spirit to live freely and holy.
You can submit to Him to live righteously and still live free.  The Holy Spirit testifies your true heart to God.  Living submissive actually opens the door to glorious freedom that you can't experience otherwise because Abb is working hard for your good.  He does this because He loves you.  This relationship is personal.  We are His children.
