New World

 

    Once everything that we know is destroyed and judgment has been pronounced on every soul, it will be time for the new Heaven and Earth to be opened up.  The old will pass away to never exist again.  We will forget as the New Jerusalem becomes the true Holy City of God.  

    God will live with His people in His true form in the New Jerusalem.  This new world will not have tears, death, pain, or mourning.  All that will disappear from our mind.  We will live in peace the way we were always meant to live in peace and tranquility.  That all died with the old world that is tainted by sin.  It will be done and the followers of Jesus will drink the water of life for eternity.

    The unbelievers(cowards and faithless), vile, and unrepentant sinners (murder, sexual immorality, magic, idolatry, liars) will all be in the lake of fire.  We can mourn them now because in time we will not remember.  It will be like a dream.  It is the only way we can have peace in our heart.  Their second death is due to the choices made in life.

    In the new world God's glory will shine brilliantly.  In the New Jerusalem, the 12 tribes are recognized along with the 12 apostles.  The city's foundation is precious stones making the whole city precious, beautiful, and huge.  It is 12 layers for the walls that hold the name of Jesus and the 12 apostles.  The city walls will have 12 gates, three facing north, south, east, and west.

    We will no longer need the sun and moon for light because of God's glory and Jesus being the light.  They will still be guiding us.  The city gates will never be closed.  There is no need for any security because all the things that bring us fear in life will be gone.  There will only be glory and honor to God.  There will be no temple (church building) because God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are the church.  I do wonder if the Holy Spirit will have a body or will just be a spirit in the New World.

    Nothing impure will ever enter this new world.  The only people allowed to enter are those with their name in the Book of Life.  This is a world we cannot fully understand because none of us have ever lived in a world that was not corrupt in some way or some level.  Imagine a world without sin, temptation, or fear.  That is what it will be like, but even better.

Revelations 21
