Two Beast

 

    John watched the dragon stand on the beach.  It looks like he was waiting for something.  Then a beast comes out of the sea.  He has 10 horns, seven heads, and 10 crowns.  He will emerge into the world with blasphemy on his lips against God.  It looks similar to a leopard, but has feet of a bear and mouth of a lion.

    The dragon will give will give this beast all his power and authority that he holds.  After the beast has authority it became apparent that one of his heads was fatally wounded.  He uses the new power to heal it.  He give the illusion that he is invincible.  This amazes the world and he becomes like a god to the people.  

    For 42 months this beast will wage war against Christians.  The people of the world will worship him.  The beast will slain everyone in the book of life, followers of Jesus.  Christians are forced to endure, but we can chose to do so faithfully because this is allowed.  It has to happen to finish the time of Satan's reign.  John is warning people to listen and really hear the message.  Follow Jesus and you are not lost.  Stay faithful until death if necessary because death is not the end.

    Another beast comes into the picture.  This beast comes from the earth speaking like the dragon.  It has two horns that he uses to force people to worship the beast from the sea.  Together they perform miracles because the second beast holds the same authority as the first.  People will think he is Jesus when he is really Satan.  It will take wisdom and understanding to see the truth.

    The beast of the earth will also enforce the mark.  This mark is not like the mark of Jesus.  This mark is a number placed on the hand or forehead.  People follow willingly because they are deceived.  It is only those that see the truth that will suffer right now.  Without the mark you can't buy or sale.  You can't survive unless Jesus provides a way.  It appears to be an equalizer, but in reality it is marking people as slaves to Satan.  In the end it will calculate the number 666.
