Abdon

The tribes were separated.  The Asher tribe were the fifth to receive their allotted land with clear boundary lines.  Abdon was a leader in the Asher tribe.  He helped with the division of their 22 towns and villages which were a part of their inheritance promised by God.
Abdon was a leader for eight years. He had 40 sons and 30 grandsons.  He was considered blessed.  We don't know a lot about him, but that he fought for his people and that he cherished family.  He was also wealthy.  He had 70 donkeys to ride on.  He was buried at Pirathon in Ephraim in the hill country of the Amalekites.  Maybe that means that he was a good business man that had earned the respect of other nations.
When the Levites recorded the people of notoriety for the Jewish history, Abdon was one of the people that made the cut.  The nation was being exiled by Nebuchadnezzar and they needed something to validate their nation.  It listed David's musicians and Solomon's contributions.  It was thorough.
