The Highest Power

God the Father, Son, and Spirit are the highest power.  They are separate parts that work and function as one.  They share the same mission, point, cares and concerns.  They work in perfect unity.  They are the source of all power.  That is why they are the highest power.
They enable us to use that power for their purpose.  It starts at the moment of salvation and grows the closer you move toward them.  You start seeing it as you witness to other people about what God has done in your life.  They see God working in your life as you work at life.  You have to confront evangelism.  It can't be ignored or you will never tap into the person that you can be.  Peter is a great example of embracing a path that he would never had taken before meeting Jesus.  He allowed Jesus to change his simple life to an extraordinarily vibrant life that will never be forgotten.
The power of God is used intellectually.  The best example of that is Paul.  He knew how to debate and make points like a lawyer.  He embraced the power that the Holy Spirit gave him to serve God using his mind along with his voice.  We can debate, learn knowledge and understanding, and convince other people by using our intellect.  It can help us know the words to use to connect with the person that we are conversing with.
Your testimony holds a lot of power because it is personal and relational.  People want to know who you are with Jesus.  They see that you have something special and want that too.  Use your testimony to be invitational.  That means your testimony is not a one way street.  Ask them to open up to you.  Use what you learn to help them see their need for Jesus.  Otherwise your testimony is a nice story, but probably one that they cannot relate to.  You have to help them relate it to their lives.
Christians are called to service.  You can never access the power of God if you never apply it.  Your service could be as simple as acts of kindness or complex as changing your entire life to go off to do full time ministry.  It is all about being faithful to the calling that God gives you.  The point is that service needs to be a part of a Christian's lifestyle.
God gave us many promises.  We need to accept and embrace them as a part of our thinking and lifestyle.  We just need to seek Him in all things and we will embrace His power.  It is not magic.  It is something that changes us from the inside out.  It makes the scared turn bold.  The timid become outspoken.  The lazy person becomes productive.  The addict become an advocate.
Seek God in in your speech, spirit, work, ministry, money, heart, relationships, feelings, moods, finding value in what He values, and eternity.  That looks different for everyone, but it comes down to what you value and invest your time into.  It is considering how you dress and the message that your appearance gives to other people.  It is attending church.
Seeking God is as basic as taking care of your body: diet, sleep, exercise.  It is learning who to distance yourself from and who to invest into.  You only get this body.  You only have right now.  Do what you need to do to remove any sin from your life and turn your free-time into an investment.  That means being intentional about what music you listen to, movies you watch, books you read, and places you travel.  It is about being there for the people that need you instead of always thinking about your own needs.  It is sacrificing some comfort to be a better servant for God.  That is considering all aspects of life: house, car, work, and more.
It all begins with salvation: accept truth, repent sin, and accept the Holy Spirit's gifts.  The power is not like in the movies, but it is magnificent.  It is unworldly.  It is looking into the unseen and embracing the truth.  It is accepting the impossible as possible.
