Faithfulness produces spiritual fruit in your life. It is a gift from the Holy Spirit that compiles on other gifts because it opens your eyes to a world that can't been seen without the key of faith.
Faithfulness requires obedience. When you chose to be obedient to God's Word faithfully, then you are able to see the reason behind His rules and regulations with more clarity. It helps you overcome doubt and fear. You can accept failure and know that more opportunities will come. It won't crush your spirit.
Faithfulness can handle many situations in life. You understand that you can't handle everything on your own, so you rely on God gladly to handle the majority of life events. It opens doors for you to trust God and choose not to judge other people.
The qualities of faithfulness is forgiveness, living in integrity, having a pure heart, humility, and being a light in the dark spiritual world. It is trusting God in all things and choosing righteousness. A faithful person is someone God can rely on to handle His responsibilities that He gives to them like managing their household, working honestly, and keeping their mind sharp and ready for life events. This is worth more than material things in life (aka wealth of the world).
Faithfulness is not something that can be done on human effort. It requires trust and reliance on God. It is supernatural power that comes from the Holy Spirit. What you can do is think about your life and examine your heart.
Do the qualities of faithfulness describe you? Does it align with God's Word? Have you really relied on God in the important things? How do you see other people? How do other people see you? These and many more questions can give you an idea of where you stand in your faith.
If you claim to be a Christian, then people in the world are watching. They are want to see you fail and it is easy to fail in one or two acts of faithfulness. What we need to focus on is consistency. Are we living the life that we are proclaiming? Or are we all words and no back bone? A life of faithfulness is a challenge, but the reward out weighs any discomfort or inconvenience.
The last thing that you need to do to live faithfully is ask God how He sees you? He sees all the good and bad more clearly than any person could. He knows you better than you know yourself, so let Him reveal truths about you to you. Let your heart be open and transparent to anything He may tell or show you. Life is too short and precious to waste.
