Spiritual Gift of Faithfulness

The Holy Spirit gives out gifts at the moment of salvation according to how he chooses.  Supernatural faith is one of them.  This is faith that can defy logic and science.  It is a trust in God that not all Christians possess.  The Spiritual gift of faithfulness limits the power of temptation.
Faith is required to be a Christian, a part of God's adopted family, but it more than that.  Faith can keep you from being overtaken by the influences of the world.  It encourages endurance in a way that sheer will cannot because it is based on trust that God will be there.  You trust the promises made by God from the beginning of time as if they were made to you personally that day.
Faith gives you a peace while you endure anxiety, pain, suffering, or any other type of discomfort that may try to tempt you to sin.  Suffering can make the easy path seem very appealing.  It takes strength and focus on God to stay on your path and follow Jesus.
We may never fully understand the why to things, but you can trust God to protect your mind, heart, and soul.  The only time He will not protect them is if you choose unfaithfulness over Him.  He will allow you to get hurt to show you the error of your ways because He loves you.  It is what any good parent would do.  It is better to get a little hurt now than to be destroyed later.
God understands trauma.  If you doubt that, then look at what Jesus endured.  He was not super human.  He felt every bruise, cut, hurtful word, and more.  He knew the peoples heart, so he hurt deeper than we do.  When being faithful gets hard, lean on Jesus.  He has you.
Faith limits the power that Satan has over you.  God always gives you a way out, so if you live by faith then you know His voice.  He will keep you from being snared by the lies of Satan if you listen to His directions given by the Holy Spirit in the moment.
Faith means you can walk through anything, but it does not mean that you should put yourself into situations to test that truth.  Being faithful is not being careless.  You are tested and endure trials, but you do so joyfully because it reveals you to yourself.
Trials and tribulations help you to find where you are strong, weak, and where you need to work on your faith.  It allows you to see how your are growing in your faith.  When you look back you can see just how much you have overcome and celebrate with God.  If you walk with God, then you can overcome anything.  He never promised that it would easy, but He did promise that He would be with you.
The fruit of the Spirit that is faith is a lifestyle of overflowing faith.  It is choosing His way over what may look more appealing at the time.  His way is typically harder, but you are strong enough to overcome because faith is devotion.  Being faithful is being loyal to God and those that He put in your life.  It is unwavering trust in God.  It is something you feed everyday because you are steadfast.  Faithfulness makes you trustworthy and dependable.
