Count Your Blessings

Part of sanctifying your thoughts is thankfulness and you have to count your blessings to be thankful.  The more you pour yourself into gratitude towards God, the more you thankful and the more clearly you see Him providing for you.  Put away all of today's problems and focus on the good He is doing in you today.  You will discover your stress and anxiety melting away like the sun melts away icy problems.
Be thankful for your home, vehicle, and having fundamental things.  They may not be what you want in the long run, but you have something.  God has provided and if you are a good steward of what He has given you, then He will give you more.  It starts with being grateful for what you have.  Think about how you are blessed everyday.
Spiritual blessings should not be taken for granted.  Instead, use them for good in the world around you.  That is the beginning of being a good steward with what God has given you.  Thank Him for the gifts that you have.  Thank Him for making you in the body He gave you.  Thank Him for who you are including all the experiences that made you who you are.
God choose you before He even created the world.  That is love.  That is devotion.  Can that motivate you to love better?  God has entrusted us with the truth of all things.  The truth of salvation has been sealed on our soul by the Holy Spirit moving in and guiding the followers of Jesus.  He is the seal of eternal security.  If you are not grateful for anything else, be grateful for that nothing you do will break the relationship you have with God.  If you rebel of move away, then it will be strained and you are the one that looses out, but it is not broken.
If you are a true Christian, then you have at least one spiritual gift.  The Holy Spirit gives out the gifts as He desires.  You can't change or exchange what you have.  He gave it to you for a reason.  Find how it makes you who you are and use it in service of God with a grateful heart.  After all, it was a gift that the Holy Spirit gave to empower you to glorify God.
It is never too late to learn what your spiritual gift is and how to use it.  It is your responsibility as a child of God.  If you ignore that responsibility, then you will have to answer to that one day.  They were not given to you not to be used.
It is better to choose to do your best with what you have and what you are equipped to do.  It will bring joy into your heart.  It brings joy into the lives of other people.  Living as a good and faithful steward that counts their blessings leads to an intimate relationship with God.
God does not overlook anyone, but you do have to accept His gift of salvation and learn what the Bible says about your gifts in life.  The more you turn to God, the more He reveals Himself and the more you see the blessings that He is giving you.
