Back On Track

When life feels like it has gone off track, you have to put in the work to get back on track.  Figure out where it all started and then recognize your part in it.  Turn to God as your creator and start seeking opportunities to get closer to Him by showing your self grace forgiveness, and love to people in the world.
If you want to get your life back on track, then you need to take the time to spend at least an hour a day in God's Word, prayer, and meditation.  If you are able to do more, then you will get closer to God faster, but everyone needs at least an hour a day to maintain their relationship with God.
Accept where you went wrong.  Turn it over to God by praying for forgiveness and redemption.  Then follow God back to your tracks to move forward in life.  You can't change the past, so accept it and learn from it.  Do not let the past hold you back.
Getting back on track starts with forgiveness.  Forgive your self and forgive everyone who has hurt you or wronged you.  Recognize life mistakes and remember if you are not perfect, then is it fair to expect anyone else to be perfect?  Actively seek to see the good in everyone.  Search how God is working in their lives and then you can see Him working in your own.
God does not speak to everyone in the same way.  The relationship is personal, so that means that His communication with you is personal.  He will reach out to you in the way that will get your attention.  It can be in acts of nature, animals, supernatural events, people, or even a whisper in your soul.
Your life does not look like anyone else's life.  You can live in the same house and share the same lives, but you still experience things differently.  Do not compare yourself or reactions to anyone else.  Do not let anyone diminish your experiences either.  They are yours and God is using them to shape you, not anyone else.
God created you to be relational, so that you will seek out other followers of Jesus to become strong in His name.  He gives you timing that is specific for your personalized schedule.  He gave you purpose in life that He did not give anyone else.  That is all worthy to be celebrated and to motivate you to worship God.
The Holy Spirit speaks through God's Word and your conscience.  He is your moral guild in life.  He speaks on your behalf about what your heart really is saying and your needs to God.  If you listen and obey, then He will make sure you never go without what you really need.  He sustains, provides, and communicates with you.  This is how you know God is in three parts and eternally alive.
When you have fallen off track you have lost this perspective.  You start living for your own selfish desire or worse for someone else.  The only way to stay on your tracks is to stay in God's pace on your tracks.  You should live to help other people, but you can't let yourself or other people replace God.  He is better than anything you can create or anyone else can give you.  He is better than food or sleep, so don't let comfort become your god.
Trust God to take care of you even when you are unsteady and you feel like you are going to fall off the tracks, trust God to keep you steadily on the tracks.  If you did fall off the tracks because you lost perspective or focus, then trust that He will get you back on track.
Don't worry about the schedule.  You will get to your destinations on time because you are in His timing.  You job is to keep pressing forward at God's pace.  Acknowledge the lessons that God is giving you and that nothing happens for no reason.  Trust that God will heal anything that is wounded, broken, or damaged.  He will make it beautiful and you stronger for it.  Put your hope in Him and you will be okay.
