Living out your Christianity means you live on prayer. It is your North Star. It directs your attitude, direction, and priorities. It puts God first.
God knows your whole story. He knows your past, present, and future. He knows your family. He knows what you have gone through to get where you are. He knows what you will go through, but now you don't have to go through it alone. Parents and family love you, but they only know a portion. God knows it all. That is why He is your good father. He is the father over everyone who is adopted into His family.
Use prayer to learn more about God, yourself, your relationship, and life. Feel confident enough to ask questions and go to your Bible to push your learning. He will reveal most answers about life and how to live through the Bible. Sometimes He will allow aha moments in life. Sometimes He will send another person to give you the answer, but even then you should back it up to the Bible.
Life does not get easier as a Christian, but your burdens do get easier. You feel pressure, but you have God to support most of the weight. If you allow Him, then you will be amazed at how much of the burdens He carries on your behalf.
Never stop preparing for what will come. Life is a marathon. That means that you have to learn endurance. You need to exercise your mind, faith, body, and spirituality. To be a good steward you have to take care of every aspect of who you are in God's name. That way when you are in the spotlight or being persecuted you can honestly defend your relationship with God. You will be able to endure.
Keep your prayer life and time with God. That way you are not always saying the same thing over and over. People get tired of that. They want something new. It can be exhausting trying to be what people want. That is why you only need to be concerned about what God wants. He does not want your relationship to become stagnant. He will use other people sometimes to make sure that does not happen.
Preparations is part of your Christian life. It is the part that builds endurance and strengthens your prayer life. It helps you see inspiration in living your life. It starts with prayer, then you experience the power of God and it become a part of your lifestyle.
You need a place where you can go to be alone with God. Your prayer room is your war room. It is where you go to fight your battles. It is where you study God's Word. It is where you pour out your heart in safety. It is your special place where you can close the door and have privacy with God.
You can write out your prayers and post them there and watch the rewards happen in real time. It is where you can put yourself in a the posture of submission. Your prayer room is where you go to God and say use me, fill me, empower your name through me, and bless me.
Your time in the prayer room will overflow and people will be able to tell (even if they don't know or understand what the change). They will see strength and joy. The see that in all that you do, you do to honor God. They will see you living out your salvation. That is why there is purpose in all that you do.
