Creationism Day 4: Part 2

Stars were created at the same time as the sun and the moon, but they are a lesser light because of how far away they are.  We will never know exactly how many are out there.  We can see about 3,000-5,000 stars in the sky, but we know that there are more.  We know that there are more than can be counted.  It would be like trying to count the sand on the beach.  It just is not possible for humans, but God knows each and every star and grain of sand.  He has a name for each star.
God created the stars to be the host of heaven.  He created the world mature and light was created in transit.  Who is to say that other solar systems were not created before our own or that more were not created after earth.  There could still be more to be created.  Nothing is impossible for God.
The light from stars is real.  They have different colors because some are newer and some are older.  Some stars have died.  They are a mystery of God's that will probably never be fully understood.  That is okay because we know their purpose and that God created them.  They are here to give us light and help us know the seasons, days, and years.

Genesis 1:14-19, Psalm 147:1-6, John 6:35-40, & Hebrews 11:11-12
