Why Walk with God

Enoch was 65 when he began to walk with God.  You are never too old or too young to walk with God.  He started walking with God when his son, Methuselah, was born and he realized how much he needed God.  Sometimes you just need a little perspective.
Methuselah was Enoch's oldest son, but he is also the person that lived the longest in all of history.  It is believed that his death is connected to the flood.  We do know that he lived 969 years.  His death may have been the last righteous death before the flood, but there is a possibility that he died in the flood.  We do know that after his death the life span changed.  People are only allowed to live up to 120 years now.  If we don't live that long it is because of choices that we made to destroy our bodies earlier.
Faith is your testimony being lived out as you walk with God.  You can't see Him.  You can't hear His foot steps.  You follow by the promptings that the Holy Spirit gives you because you are intune with God.  Real faith stands out.  You want to tell people about what you believe and why.
Walking with God is when you give what you have because you know it is temporary, but you also tithe because you know it is stealing from God if you do not give back just a little of what He has given you.  You make yourself a student of the Bible, prayer, and submission.  You obediently choose to attend church to have fellowship and serve with other Christians.
You should walk with God for the relationship, wisdom, and understanding.  However, there is more benefits than that to walk with God.  You will produce patience as you see how patient God is with you.  Life is never all clear, but as you mature in your relationship with Jesus you start realizing how He is there in various ways.  You have revelations in life that bring clarity and certainty.   Walk in faith to please God and seek to be near Him.
