You Matter to God

You matter to God.  That is why you can trust that He will provide for what you need.  People are good at getting confused on what they need versus what they want.  God doesn't get confused.  He will give you what you need and sometimes what you want too.
Having a relationship with God means true connection.  It is a connection without sin.  It means you can see the real beauty in the world.  You appreciate what you have.  You are able to make connections with other people.  God provides satisfaction instead of materialism.  You will never find a true substitute for that, no matter how hard you may try.
You are able to see the value of your own life when Christ is in the center of it.  If you feel like something is missing, then spend more time with God: pray, Bible study, meditation, and conversations about what you are learning.  If you feel like you don't have enough time, then invest more time in God.  It will help you see what matters and get rid of the things that waste your time.  It will reveal truths about you and how you love God.
If you want to understand your true value in this world, then strive to be like Jesus.  You will not fear death.  You will have confidence in his resurrection.  You will embrace your heavenly family.  You will live life in hope.  Faith is more than facts.  It is living out your hope in your salvation.  It is following Jesus even when it doesn't make sense.  You will start to understand God better, love like Jesus more, and live through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
To embrace your value, you must live a pure life.  We all sin, but if you are a true follower of Jesus, then you repent and stop that sin.  Your life should not be solely self-focused.  It needs to be about bringing God the glory for all that He is doing in you life.  You live in assurance of His promises, no matter what people say to you.  You follow Jesus no matter how much people try to stop you because you matter to God.
