Christ is King

Jesus is not the king you expect, but he is the king you need.  He is eternal.  His ways are better than our ways.  He leads by being a humble servant that teaches us a better way to live by example.  He allowed himself to suffer and be put to death for our benefit.
When he rose from the dead he was the ultimate ruler of all of earth.  He had finished his time on earth for now, but he will be back.  His resurrection made him ruler over death.  His power and authority were restored to where it no longer had to be contained.
Jesus' name is above all names that represent power.  He has the power to answer any and every prayer.  Demons and evil spirits know him well enough to be afraid.  They know who he is and what he can do, but they do not have a relationship with him, so their fate is hopeless.
Jesus is the miracle worker.  He is "I Am", Yahweh, Christ, Messiah, Savior, Emanuel, and more.  His life fulfilled every prophecy that the old testament prophets proclaimed.  That means that the prophecies about the future that are written will still happen.  You can trust who Jesus is.  You can trust his power.  You can find glory in having a faithful relationship with him.
