Yahweh Jireh (Yah-way Yih-ray) is also Yahweh Yireh and Jehovah Jireh. In Hebrew it is יְהוָה יִרְאֶה, It means "the Lord Will Provide" or "the Lord Will See". It describes God's character in providing for His people. He sees a need and will provide. He likes it when we ask, but sometimes He does not wait for you to catch up to what you really need. He know what you need before you do.
The name Yahweh Jireh was first used by Abraham when God provided for his sacrifice. Abraham recognized that no matter what God would give him what he needed when he needed it. You will not always have a closet full of blessings or an abundance of provisions, but God will provide what you need most when you need it.
When you pray using the name Yahweh Jireh you are saying to God that you trust Him to provide. You can give him the check off list, but ultimately you have to wait to receive what you need. When you cry out to God using Yahweh Jireh you placing your complete trust into His hands.
Yahweh Jireh is the name you use in faith. When you are being gleaned you know that God will get you through it. You can allow all your worries and mental anxieties to disappear. On the other hand it is your anxiety and worries also tell you where you don't trust God to provide. It is a simple concept to release everything to God to take care of, but something you have to work out and it can take time. God is patient, but make sure you are working it out.
