Black & White

There are many things in this world that are not black and white.  Sin is sin and Holiness is holiness.  However, the heart condition can make certain acts of one a sin, but for another it may not be.
Jesus stood by the laws of divorce.  When we are married it is a union vow, not a contract to exit when things do not turn out how you desire.  Jesus made it clear marriage is between man and woman. Anything else, He will not acknowledge.  What He binds, no one can break.  That means He has to be in your marriage for it to be truly blessed and successfully strong.
Jesus allows divorce because we are products of the fallen world.  The world makes our hearts hard.  Jesus will only acknowledge divorce if it is due to sexual immorality: adultery.  We live in a perverse world, so that an be a wide range of things people do to each other.  We need to accept things as they are.  If it is for any other reason and your remarry, then it becomes adultery.
Children are a blessing.  We may not always like what brought them into this world, but that is not their fault or problem.  They are a gift that needs to be loved and protected, not ignored or cast away.
Eternal life is not achieved by your behavior or deeds.  It is strictly by faith.  There is always something we need to work on: pride, willfulness, rebellious heart, or anything that keeps you from God.  The treasures of Heaven will only be given to the humble that follow Jesus blindly.
Living a truly sacrificial life can be very hard for people who are wordly rich.  They have a lot to lose on this side of eternity.  They don't see that salvation is where we truly become rich.  God is the only one who was able to make salvation possible.  Whatever you sacrifice for Him, you will receive back 100 times more in Heaven.  You have to be willing to be last.  You have to be willing to be the lowest of all people here and now.

Matthew 19
