Bread of Life

What a strange description of a person: Bread of Life.  It may sound odd, but it holds so much depth.  Jesus used it as a life giving lesson.  We have to work to eat.  It is a commandment.  Sloths do not need to mooch off of good people. There are exceptions on how to work, but we all need to earn our way in life.
The other side of the coin is that food always needs to be replenished.  Jesus said do not worry about where your food will come from.  Focus on eternal life, He will take care of the rest.  Yes, there are people starving, but it is because of the human element, whether it be the leaders, how we have treated the earth, or curses brought down upon our families.  Salvation should be enough of a miracle for people to not question what Jesus can actually do.  Jesus came to be the bread of life to a starving world.  His blood brings life to our dead souls.
His ways can be hard to accept, but it is the truths to life and after.  The only way to really live is to feed the spirit.  The body will decline and die.  There is no stopping that fact until He returns.  Your spirit can stay young and healthy for eternity.  If you refuse to accept this, then you are choosing to reject Jesus.

John 6: 22-71
