Confidence

 

    We have little rituals to make us feel confident in our looks, work, socially, and other areas in life.  It may be as simple as getting your hair done to as complex as getting a degree.  Confidence is faith or trust that gives you a secure feeling.  Following God's path provides an unshakable confidence.  It is security unrelated to the circumstances.

    There are times in life that everyone feels like the world is against them.  This is when we need to find refuge in God.  You need to find rest as He shields you.  You still have to live and walk through your daily life, but you can have confidence that He is protecting you.

    When you feel insecure cry out to God with confidence that He will answer.  He is not going to ignore your call.  He wont mute you while focusing on something else.  He is there.  He will answer.  If you can have confidence in that, then you can rest mentally, emotionally, and physically.  Prayer and confidence are your weapon against the enemy.

    You can have confidence that God is fighting for you.  You don't have to be afraid of people that seem to have power over you.  He is providing options.  You just have to pay attention enough to see them.  When things get real bad and the world feels dark, just look for that slimmer of light and follow it.  He will guide you out of the darkness.
