When you are betrayed it can trigger a lot of emotions: anger, discouragement, weakness, hurt, sad, and more. Betrayal can cause trust issues that naturally builds up walls. You may not even be aware that it is happening. When something is taken from you it is a natural response to try to prevent that from happening again. However, God teaches us a different way and it can be challenging.
God blesses the weak and poor because they can't protect themselves. He gives the deliverance and comfort. He provides for their needs. It is a relationship where God is the one that provides everything. They just need to do is accept it and have thanksgiving in their heart.
God sustains the sick. That is not necessarily means to heal. He provides restoration and strength to push through. He has mercy. He provides hope where there is no hope for those that suffer.
When betrayed, God sees the other people working against you. He sees the hearts of the people that design to work against you. Even the people that love you, will let you down occasionally. The tongue can be the most dangerous weapon that we all possess. Gossip is dangerous and cruel. God raises those that have been betrayed to be triumphant in the end.
Choose to live a life of integrity and an open heart. God will use these qualities to protect you. You will earn the respect of most of the people around you. You will have a life that thrives instead of hiding or consumed by bitterness.
