Proverb's Instruction

Everything in life has instructions.  Some are vague, so they are more like guidelines or boundaries.  Others are explicit, but knowing how to follow them may not be.  It takes wisdom to understand how to navigate at times.  It may require philosophical discussion to know how to proceed.  One way of doing that is through proverbs.
Like the last few chapters, each verse is a different proverb written by Solomon.  He wrote them to help us grow wise in how to follow instruction.  It begins with children obeying their parents to become wise.  It ends with how a wise parent will discipline their child out of love, so they will not be spoiled.
The wise crave good things and achieve their goals by watching their words.  Silence can be protection.  The wise are satisfied with what God has given them in life.  They hate lies, shaming, or disgrace.  They live their lives with integrity which draws people to them.  The way they live their life produces an inner light.  They listen to advice and make their money last if not work for them.  Their life gives hope to other people.
Understanding leads to more knowledge which wins favor.  It produces healing in relationships.  Surround yourself with wise people and you will be come wise.  The other option is to live life around fools and become a fool yourself.  They do all kinds of harm.  The wicked crave violence and speak rashly.  They mock anyone who tries to correct them because they are never satisfied.  They want to put out the light that makes them look bad, so they go after the wise instead of looking inwardly to their own faults.
