Wisdom on Temptation

Temptation is the desire to do something wrong or unwise.  It sounds black and white, but it is not.  There are areas that you don't realize are wrong until you have a little wisdom.  Solomon gives us 35 proverbs to help us figure it out the philosophy of temptation and doing what is right.
Do not give into temptation.  One temptation that you may not consider is gluttony.  Indulgences can become sin if you put desire before your relationship with God.  They are subtle and will deceive you.  You have to become self-aware and use wisdom for restraint.
Things in this world are all temporary.  Everything has an expiration date, even if it is long after yours.  A fool will consider things security and scorn those that understand the truth.  They will work themselves to death to be rich.  Do not listen or follow because you know better.  They could place doubt in your mind, deceive, or cheat you.  Instead, stay focus on God's instructions and fill your mind with knowledge.
That way you will be prepared to save souls through correction and discipline.  Be a person that your parents can be proud and rejoice in having.  Together they make you a strong person with a wise heart.  This is worth celebrating.
A wise heart speaks truth.  It rejects envy.  It has hope for the future.  Drunks and gluttons display poor character that don't have clarity in life.  Don't follow their example or it will lead you to poverty.  Fortify yourself in God's truth and gain wisdom, discipline, and understanding.  Do not be unfaithful like a prostitute, adultery, or bandit.  Walk with God and you will see life clearly.
