Beloved

Have you ever felt beloved?  To feel beloved is to be dearly loved, cherished.  It is a powerful feeling that some people never experience.  That is sad because we are all beloved by God, but some people will never allow themselves to feel it.  It is a sense of feeling seen, heard, and understood.
Communication is vital for any relationship.  It is how we set boundaries.  It is how we work through issues.  If your spouse was not to come home one night, but never communicated that he or she was not coming home, then you have every right to go look for them.  However, if you do not communicate, where you start?  Would you go to the hospital, bar, work, or assume even worse?  Infidelity is so much easier and more likely if there is no or poor communication in a marriage.  If your marriage has broken to the point of infidelity, then it is wise to seek counsel.
Solomon was a great king with unfathomable wisdom, but he was not good at being faithful.  Great people are just people.  Everyone has their areas of weakness.  Women were Solomon's weakness and it led to a unhappiness in his soul.  He left a lot of women feeling insecure and unloved.  Yet, he knew what it was to love.
Being away from the family for work or something else is taxing on a person.  It is okay to lavish on yourself a bit to feel more like yourself.  You can't work all the time with nothing to show for it.  That does not mean that it is okay to be immoral.  Stay pure until you are married and God will bless that union.  Keep God in the center of the marriage and it can be fully satisfying.  You can feel beloved.
When you come together on the wedding night it can be full of nervous anticipation and desire.  The time of refrain has finally come to an end.  These are the wedding unions that should be celebrated.  The beauty of purity and character of abstinence is to be recognized.   The battle of temptation has been won and it is time to celebrate.  It is not a farce.  It is real.

Sin Pollution

Sin pollutes your soul, so it can't see the world clearly.  The more sin you have in your life, the more it seems normal and okay....
