Worthlessness

 

    God wants His people to follow the purpose that He gave them in the womb.  It may take a while to figure out what that purpose is, but once we know we need to obey.  If we choose not to, then there is a good chance the sense of worthlessness may creep into your life.  To speak God's Word is not always easy, but it has a purpose.

    To follow God is to reform your ways from evil to holy.  We are to deal with each other justly.  That means God can see the heart and true motivations.  We can only see the actions and hear people's words.  We have to do the best we can with the information we have unless God provides more.  To be a true follower is not to use the church or the word "Christian" as a talisman.  It is a genuine way of life or it is a lie.  The place and the word will not save you.  It is your relationship that give purpose.

    Following idols will lead to a worthlessness in your life.  It leaves the door open to be deceived.  Deception is worthless and a waste of time.  You can avoid it more than you may think.  Pray that God gives you discernment for lies.  

    God can't allow deception into His presence.  He will not allow a thief, murderer, adulterer, liar, arrogant, or idol worshipper into His court.  They are detestable.  You think you are smart enough to get away with anything, but God is always watching.  Nothing gets past Him.  That also means that if you die in your sin that it is too late.  Praying for the soul of a deceased person is a waste of time.  The eternity has already been decided.  There are no more second chances.

    If people turn His home (the church) into a house of sin, then He will remove Himself.  You may feel like this is a win, but that also means that you will not enter Heaven.  When the time comes for your entrance, He will not listen to your pleas.  You harmed yourself by provoking God.  It is a shame because all you have to do is ask for forgiveness and all will be forgotten.  The sin will no longer be held on your record.  It will be gone.  Otherwise the life you live is worthless.

    Walk in God's Commands and with integrity.  Listen and pay attention for His voice.  Don't be stubborn or allow evil into your heart because it defiles you.  Be confident when speaking God's Word, even if it means you are ignored or worse.  The truth is too important to perish or disappear.  

    Don't defile what God has given you in life.  Beware that sin brings death in many stages.  It is more death than you can imagine.  Sin can cause you to do things you never thought you were capable of doing and before you know it you are so far gone that you can't see your way back.  Just remember you can find your way back with God.  A life of sin steals life's worth.  It turns your existence into a desolate wasteland.  Don't live worthlessly.
