This is not the end of my blog. This is about the vision that Ezekiel had about the end of Israel. When they were exiled, it was not like the Judah nation. It was basically the end of their nation. When the two would emerged again, they were united as the Jewish nation. It was different than the way it was before. They had to change their name to show submission to God.
Ezekiel had to tell the nation of God judgment on Israel: war without mercy or pity. This meant the end of the nation. No life was preserved. Everyone was affected even if they did not die. It took a demolished nation for them to remember God, but it was too late. Punishment was upon them for their detestable ways. It was the end of their great corruption.
No one can win a battle against God, so why do people try to go to war with Him? The people who survived the war against God were miserable. The life that they faced now was a life none of them would have chosen. The survivors were homeless, weak, and fearful. They sold all they had to have money to escape, but what is money when there is still no food? They sought peace, but found none. Opposing God is not a good place to find yourself. It leads to calamity on more calamity. It is hopelessly dark because they still put their faith in things like money over God.
Israel lost God's Word long ago, so they had no clue on how to even repent. They did not know the changes that were needed to get on the right side of God. They didn't know what it was to be faithful. I can't even imagine being that lost or how terrifying that would be. They were shown that they were not invincible. Any nation that thinks they are invincible better start praying or God may humble or destroy them.
