Gog was the enemy of God, so he was driven out where ever he went until he was delivered to Israel. At the mountain of Israel, he and his people died. They became food for the predatory and wild animals. God then sent fire upon Magog and it's coastal islands as judgment.
God was not going to let those whom think they have the power take away from His Holy Name. His name was not going to be profaned anymore.
For seven years Israel Burned the weapons. There was so many weapons to burn that they didn't need to use wood for their fires. After God and his people were buried in a mass grace, it took seven months for the Israelites to cleanse the land. It was a full time job finding the bodies and burying them. There were so many bodies, that no one could get in or out of Israel. The location became Hordes of Gog Valley.
Once the land was clean, God had a new compassion for His people. He showed His compassion by pouring out His Spirit on them. Judgment was complete and it was time for restoration. Israel felt remorse for their unfaithfulness, so God gathered them so they could know Him.
