Sin's Furnace

Sin is doing anything that goes against the standards that God set for all of humanity.  It is not just for one set of people.  No one is exempt.  That means that even if you don't believe you are held accountable for living an unclean life.
Idols defile a person.  It is like bloodshed.  That is why sin must be confronted.  Hate and worship anything other than God leads to turmoil and mockery when it comes time for judgment.  The unbelievers may mock and kill Christians now, but it won't last.  A profaned, deprived, and lewdness is a brutal life and will be treated like murder.  Blood is on your hands.  Putting money and possessions over life is the same as murder.
The leaders that are responsible for the decline of God's standards will be held accountable.  Their people will scatter and leave them alone to face their judgment and punishment.  As silver melts so will the guilty as God's wrath pours out on them because they are found guilty of bloodshed.   The government and spiritual leaders are supposed to protect the people, not cause harm.  Causing harm is profaning God's way.
No impurities or filth can be allowed into the perfection we call Heaven.  It is God's home and He is making it the home of all that follow Him.  However, we have to be rid of our impurities.  Once we claim salvation, that makes us clean where we can enter Heaven, but it is only the beginning.  We have to continuously repent our sins to maintain the relationship with God.  Sometimes the soul has to go through fire while alive to be ready to enter Heaven when we die.  Sin had to burn.  It is better now than later.
