Jesus Authority

If there is any question, then let me answer it.  Jesus has authority over everything and everyone.  He is part of the trinity, so he gives you free will.  It is a gift that he will not renig, but it is a gift.  He obeyed God's plan to the letter to really enforce his authority.  It doesn't make sense until you really get to know him.
God taught us how to be obedient through Jesus.  It is obedience that will ensure us fulfilling our purpose.   Obedience opens doors that were firmly locked and sealed.  On the other hand, disobedience is a curse that leads to death.  Sin will not be allowed in His home, so ultimately you are cursing yourself.  A life of sin is a life of fear.
It began with his entrance into Jerusalem at the beginning of the Holy Week before the Passover.  His timing was intentional.  The people understood to a small degree that he was the savior.  They just expected a glorious warrior, like King David.  So when he entered the city he was treated as if he had already won any battle that may come.  They were so close, but miles away from the truth.  This would later become Palm Sunday.
Next, he cleaned out the temple to make it clean again.  Once he was to rise again, he was never recorded in another temple or synagogue.   It was about the people and not the corrupt church/political system.
Thirdly, he continues to teach.  He taught about obedience and disobedience using a fig tree.  Peter was the closest to understanding.  That is why he was their spokes person.  It was Jesus' authority that did not allow anyone to understand clearly.  Maybe it is was because someone would try to interfere.  Maybe it was for a glorious reveal.  We may never know the reason behind it, but we do acknowledge it.
Jesus' authority made some nervous and jealous.  They actually hated him and wanted him dead.  That reveals hard hearts, but also the enforced curse of death that would eventually come to them.  They desired death, but through his death he brought life.  Those that seek death will find death and it will not be good.
Hold onto Jesus' authority.  It is what is true in life.  It gives hope without doubt.  It has power to do good things, so don't be afraid.  When you life is tied to his, then you have power to do good things too.  He can show you how to live the best and most fulfilled life.

Amend

To amend is to take action to correct a wrongdoing.  In the Bible it is repairing damage from sin by engaging those that you have hurt. ...
