Spiritual Gifts

When you become a Christian you are endowed with at least one Spiritual Gift.  You need to learn what all the gifts are, but you really need to understand your spiritual gift so you can use it.  It is a major tool for your everyday life.  The others you can learn, but you will not exceed in.
If you don't bother learning your spiritual gift, then you never really understand how the Holy Spirit is talking to you and through you.  You squander something precious and may find yourself being led astray.
There is only one Holy Spirit and He gives out the gifts as He sees fit.  There is one Spirit, but many gifts to be used for the church as a whole.  Our gifts are meant for service to God, not selfish ambition.  They are supposed to come together and work as one body to build God's church.  They are for the common good, not just your own good.
The Spiritual Gifts are wisdom, knowledge of the Bible (teaching), faith, healing, miraculous powers, prophecy, discernment, tongues, and interpretation of tongues.  We all have a different part and role, but if we work together it is fluid as in all of us moving together as one.  It will never work and be powerful if we do not work together.  There is a high arch to how the Spiritual Gifts are used: Apostles (Church or mission leaders), prophets, teachers, miracle workers, healers, administration, and then tongues.
God arranged the church to be Holy, sacred, and unified.  It is His design.  We just have to trust in Him and follow our role.  We may not see the big picture, but trust that it is powerful and beautiful.  We have to be able to trust each other too.  If one part suffers, then we all suffer.
You have a part in this and you should understand how you fit.  There is no reason to feel alone or go at life alone.  That is not the design.  Know the Holy Spirit and let Him speak to you what you need to hear.  It is personal, but the gifts are to be a part of something bigger than you.  He gives you gifts to empower your ministry.  You are not an accident and neither are your gifts.  The gifts are meaningless unless they have love to give them meaning.
