Christ-Like Lifestyle

To live a Christ-like lifestyle you need to learn temperance.  Temperance is the quality of moderation and self-restraint.  It means you understand what it is to have a balanced life with healthy boundaries.  This makes you worthy of respect through self-control, a sound faith, and the ability to love like Jesus.  This love is enduring.
When you are in the church culture you should be learning how to live a relevant life that honors God.  No one is a waste or space or worthless, so we just need to learn how to bring out what God sees in ourselves.  It starts with learning your worthy to God.  Then removing sin from your life that takes away from what makes you so precious.
Rid yourself of slander, gossip, or addition of any kind.  Once you learn what is good and holy, then you need to go out and teach other people.  Teach goodness, kindness, purity, how to keep a home properly, and how to succeed in marriage.
To many people do not know the basic skills to make a home a place that brings life to their family and community.  It has to be taught.  Never assume that someone knows because they will most likely fall through the cracks.  This is how a healthy society breaks down.
Be an example in your world.  If it is a part of your lifestyle, then you don't even have to think about it, but the world will notice.  Show the world how to live with integrity, seriousness of salvation, and sound speech with dignity.
At work, teach how to be trustworthy by showing them how it pays off in the end.  You become a beacon of light because you are not controlled by your worldly passions.  It is important to know how to show respect to employers that may not deserve respect.  It is how you live out your faithfulness and give the world around you hope for things to get better.
Salvation is God's grace in action.  It comes from a place of pure love to people that are undeserving.  That is all of us.  None of us deserve all the good that we have, but He gives it to us because He loves us.  That means we have to learn how to love those that we don't like or respect, so that we can honor God in every way.  In the hard times wait for God's blessing.
Trust in the redemption that came from Jesus.  He cleansed you and redeemed you from the lawless world around you.  He gave you the ability to be strong in a world designed to crush Christians.  Hold on to that truth and encourage others until they find their strength in Jesus.  Rebuke sin with authority.  Do not be timid or the world will disregard you.  You can't bring Jesus glory if you are overlooked.

Titus 2

Amend

To amend is to take action to correct a wrongdoing.  In the Bible it is repairing damage from sin by engaging those that you have hurt. ...
