How you live your everyday life reflects your walk with God. If you treat your employers with respect, then it shows respect for God. If you do not understand why you need to treat people with respect, then you do not understand how to respect God. It is considered blasphemy to disrespect your leaders. It can be corrected, but you have to repent and learn the value of life and why God loves you and everyone else as much as He does.
False Doctrine has no understanding. It corrupts the mind. It will have you believe that you should live your life for your own pleasure. It will teach you the value of life. All life have value, but human life (even the unborn life) has more value than any other life. False Doctrine will steal the truth from you if you allow it. It endorses envy, quarreling, slander, evil suspicions, discourse, depravity, and hides the truth (Jesus' teaching).
A Godly life is a content life. To walk with God is to find contentment without complacency in all aspects of life. You put that relationship before everything and it allows you to live a life without anxiety, confusion, or fear.
To love money first is the open door for all kinds of sin. It opens the door to temptation: self-reliance, do anything to be wealthy, foolishness, self-destruction, and ruin. It will have you wonder away from your faith. Instead of relying on your bank accounts, chose a better way to live out your faith.
Fight for your faith by pursing righteousness, Godliness, strong faith, pure love, endurance, and gentleness. Give from what you have generously because you can never out give God. Test it. Give when you think you have nothing to give and watch God provide for your needs and use what you gave in an unexpected way.
Do not hold onto things too tightly. Share what you have and watch your relationships flourish. No one wants to be close to a stingy person. There is a difference between having a sharing nature and being a fool that is taken advantage of.
You have been entrusted with what you have, so guard it. This includes your mind, body, soul, possessions, and money. You are responsible for everything that God gave you. Be a good steward and use all of it to honor God. To guard your heritage in Jesus is to live in grace.
