Test the spirit that lives in you to make sure that it comes from God. The Holy Spirit will acknowledge Jesus as Christ. It will not deny that Jesus is God's in the flesh. Any other spirit will give a different message. Those spirits are of the anti-Christ. Their goal is to deceive you for their personal gain. Do not be a victim. Follow the Spirit of truth, not deception.
Love is the defining message on if you know God. Real love was born from God. His love reveals the truth. It is written down in the Bible (the ultimate love letter), so that we can know Him. His message is true, honest, and obtainable. It is the world that tries to twist it and make it something that it is not.
If you know God, then you know how to love other people in a faithful and pure way. If you know God, then you know that you need to love other people to be complete in Him. You can love people without fear because real love drives out fear.
God commands us to love: Him, ourselves, and other people. People do not always make it easy, but love is stronger than any doubt or fear. You can't love God and hate people. This love goes hand in hand.
We have the Holy Spirit to lead the way and help avoid unhealthy love that comes from the world. He makes love real. He makes us being close to God real. Love makes living your life confidently obtainable.
